Spitfire Blueprint Dog Bandana
Dog bandana featuring a repeated simplified pattern of IWM’s signature Spitfire blueprint design. Suitable for all dog sizes as most collars can be threaded through the bandana with ease.
Several of RAF Duxford’s Second World War pilots kept pet dogs as they were a popular choice for animal mascots during the war. Animal mascots were commonly seen as an uplifting symbol and companion with some historic photographs showing the animals wearing the servicemen’s hat or goggles to show they were a part of the team.
Each bandana is made from one recycled plastic bottle.
