Photo Clip Plotting Block
Own a unique piece of Second World War history with this handmade reproduction of a Battle of Britain plotting block. Inspired by the original blocks used in RAF operations rooms, each one is slightly different, just like the real thing.
These blocks were used to track aircraft during the war—both enemy and friendly—on large map tables. We've added a photo clip at the top, making it perfect for holding pictures, notes, or postcards.
These come in an assortment of two styles:
- Enemy Raid Blocks: Marked with an “H” and a number (e.g., H01), showing the raid number and estimated number of enemy bombers. These blocks have no flag.
- RAF Squadron Blocks: Feature a yellow flag with a squadron number (e.g., 72), the number of aircraft (in red), and their altitude (in blue, e.g., 25 = 25,000 ft).
It is not possible to request a specific colour/style.
