This tribute to the RAF following victory in the Battle of Britain uses the immortal words of Winston Churchill’s speech of 20 August 1940, made at the height of the battle.
Churchill’s address praised the contributions of both RAF Fighter and Bomber Commands, and the airmen pictured in the poster were a bomber crew, although they were often assumed to be fighter pilots.
